Abstract

This paper is a contribution to knowledge of moss inhabiting freeliving nematodes of
Anatolia (Turkey). Several bryophytic biotopes are studied. The nematofauna is similar, in
general outlines, to that of midle wood biotopes in Mediterranean región. The dominant species in the nematocoenosis are: Tylenchus davainei, Mesodorylaimus bastiani and Plectus cirratus. The secondary dominance corresponds to Eudorylaimus obtusicaudatus, E, carteri, E. intermedius and E. centrocercus. In the whole, this bryophylian nematofauna is not very rich in number of species (14), but it is relatively diverse in composition. The found species are new for Anatolia and one species is new for the science: Cervidellus anatolicus n. sp.
