Abstract

A citation for Andalusia of Amorphocephalus coronatus (Germar, 181 7) (Col. Brenthidae).
A female specirnen of Amorphocephalus coronatus has been found in Bembezar’s river basin (SW Iberian Peninsula). Although this specie likes to lodge Formicidae, this time it was in the nest of Crematogaster sordidula (Myrmicidae). This is the first record of A. coronatus in Córdoba. The caught specimen shows a cephalic asymmetry because the left lobe arround the frontal plate is reduced.
