Un Brachysteles Mulsant & Rey, 1852, nouveau de la Catalogne (Hemiptera, Anthocoridae)

Abstract

A new Brachysteles Mulsant & Rey, 1852 for Catalonia (Hemiptera, Anthocoridae)
A new species of Brachysteles M-Ry, B. espagnoli (Hemiptera, Anthocoridae), is described on 1 male from Valls (Alt Camp, meridional Catalonia), captured by the author beating Poaceae. It is compared with the five species of the genus, two of which are Paieartic, two Aethiopic and the other one is Neotropic. The author emphasizes mainly the characteristics which segregate it from the euro-mediterranean element B. parvicornis (C) and from B. omphalophorus Ca. (Cameroun).
