Abstract

Agabus (Gaurodytes) maestri n. sp. (Coleoptera, Dytiscidae) from the Pyrenees
A new species of Agabus Leach, A. (Gaurodytes) maestri n. sp., collected in the Catalan Pyrenees (Spain) is described. This new species is inserted between A. (Gaurodytes) neglectus Er. and A. (Gaurodytes) chalconotus Panz. by its external morphology although its paramers characterize and distinguish it from them. A key to classify the species of the group is presented.
