A method to relax mounted specimens
An easy and inexpensive method adapted from the experience of the Australian Museum to relax mounted specimens is descnbed. The process implies the re-hydratation of the specimens in a suitable box. The Museu de Zoologia de Barcelona has tested this method and the results are very encouraging. The specimens after relaxation can be incorporated to the skin collections of the museum.
