Abstract

New records of Noemacheilus barbatulus (L., 1758) (Ostariophysi, Homalopteridae) in Spain
The geographical distribution of Noemacheilus barbatulus (L., 1758) is enlarged to the basins of the rivers Bidasoa, Oria, Deva, and Lea. A critical revision of the data already published by other authors has been done, questioning the presence of th ese species in the basins of the rivers Tajo, Guadiana and Guadalquivir. The distribution of Noemacheilus barbatulus in Spain at present spreads from Bidasoa to the Nervión rivers in the north of Spain and also in the basin of the river Ebro.
