Les espècies espanyoles del gènere Exotela Foster, 1862 (Hym., Braconidae)

Abstract

The Spanish species of the genus Exotela Forster, 1862 (Hym., Braconidae)
What was known up to now of the Spanish fauna of Exotela Forster, was thanks to the contribution of Docavo (1962, 1965). As a result of the study of braconological material captured by Docavo in the provinces of Madrid, Segovia and Teruel, as well as that obtained recently in the Valencia region -by capture and by breeding of its hosts- three new citations are added to the Spanish fauna: Exotela cyclogaster Griffiths, Exotela flavicoxa (Thomson) and Exotela hera (Nixon). A key for the identification of spanish species Exotela Forster is englosed and the distribution, sources, hosts found and hosts quoted, as well as some taxonomic observations indicated. Sorne descnptions, based on Griffiths’s criteria, are also included in order to clarify the keys of those species which have been studied for the first time in Spanish fauna.
