Firsf record of Acanthurus monroviae Steindachner, 1876 and Diodon eydouxii Brissout de Barneville, 1846, for fhe European Ichthyological fauna
A specimen of the Surgeonfish, Acanthurus monroviae Steindachner, 1876, of a tropical West African distribution, was captured in the coastal area of the Alboran Sea (Málaga). A specimen of the Pelagic Porcupinefish, Diodon eydouxii Brissout de Barneville, 1846, of a circumtropical distribution, was also caught in the Spanish south Atlantic litoral area (Cádiz). Both records, which are new for Europe, are discussed and the specimens caught described.
