Abstract

First record of the ampharetid polychaete Alkmaria romijni Horst, 1919 from the Iberian coasts
Alkmaria romijni Horst, 1919, with a NE Atlantic distribution in brackish waters, is recorded for the first time from the Iberian coasts. A description of the species, its distribution map and ecological coments on the collecting sites are presented.
