Abstract

Lumbricids of the Canary Islands. II. Genera Octodrilus and 0ctolasion
Morphological and ecological data on Octodrilus complanatus and Octolasion lacteum is presented. O. lacteum is more acid tolerant and less demanding as far as the requirements of organic matter is concerned. Exhaustive data on the distribution of both species in the Canary Islands is given.
