Abstract

New data on Chaetonotus zelinkai Grünsp. (Gastrotricha)
This paper presents data on Chaetonotus zelinkaiGrünsp., a rare gastrotricha species, from moss-inhabiting hidrophilic microfauna of Dhaulagiri zone, at 5,000 m of altitude, in Nepal. Some morphological and ecological data are presented. Up to now, this species was known from swampy places in Europe and Asia, but was never recorded from high mountains.
