Abstract

Speonomus aldomai n. sp. (Coleoptera, Catopidae) new Bathysciinae from the Alta Ribagorca (Lleida)
A new species of Bathysciinae is described: S. aldomai n. sp. from a natural cave in the proxirnity of the village of Corroncui, municipality of El Pont de Suert (Lleida, Spain). This species is inserted between S. saforensis Escola, Bellés & Comas and S. ribagorzanus Jeannel, but some characters referred to habitus, proportion of the antennal segments’ length, male protarsus and apical portion of the penis in lateral view, characterize and distinguish it from them.
