Folsomides almanzorensis n. sp. (Collanihola, Isotomidae) from Sierra de Gredos
A species of Isotomidae is described from meadow and pine-forest soils in Sierra de Gredos (Ávila, Sistema Central). Folsomides almanzorensis n. sp. is related to F. meridionalis Dallai, 1973, F. andinensis Díaz & Najt, 1984 and F. ayllonensis Simón & Luciáñez, 1990, in lacking mucron, which in F. nanus Ellis, 1974 is strongly reduced. It differs from al1 of them by the number of eyes and from some by the number of posterior setae on the manubrio and the arrangement of microsensilla on thoracic and abdominal scgments.
