Cinco especies del género Molgula Forbes & Hanley, 1848 (Ascidiacea, Molgulidae) en la ría de Ferrol (NO península ibérica)

Abstract

Five species of Molgula Forbes & Hanley, 1848 (Ascidiacea, Molgulidae) in the Ría de Ferrol (NW Iberian peninsula)
Molgula amesophleba (Condreanu & Mack-Fira, 1956) and M. socialis Alder & Hancock, 1848 are new records for the Iberian peninsula and M. amesophleba is found for the first time off the Mediterranean Sea. M. bleizi (Lacaze-Duthiers, 1877) and M. occulta Kupffer, 1875 are new records for the Iberian Atlantic coasts. The presence of M. manhattensis (De Kay, 1843) is confirmed in the iberian peninsula. The northem distribution lirnit of M. amesophleba, and the southern one of M. socialis are enlarged. A tabular key of the 13 species of Molgula genus cited in the Iberian peninsula is included.
