Estudio autoecológico de Ponentina subvirescens (Bellamy, 1839) (Gastropoda, Pulmonata, Hygromiidae) en la sierra de O Courel (Lugo, NO España)

Abstract

Autoecological study of Ponentina subvirescens (Bellamy, 1839) (Gastropoda, Pulmonata, Hygromiidae) in the sierra of O Courel (Lugo, NW Spain)
The ocurrence of P. subvirescens is analysed in relation to vegetation and edaphic factors. The ecological profiles are used as a statistical method. Eight biotopes were sampled and 21 edaphic factors analysed. This species can be characterised as typical of broom field areas, showing preference for acid soils and soils with a low capacity for draining water.
