Helminthfauna of Algyroides marchi Valverde, 1958 (Sauria, Lacertidae) in the Alcaraz and Cazorla mountains
A survey on the helminthfauna of Algyroides marchi Valverde, 1958 (Sauria, Lacertidae) from the Alcaraz and Cazorla mountains (southeast of Spain) has been canied out. Three helminth species were found, one Trematoda, Plagiorchis molini, and two Nematoda, Skrjabinodo n. sp. and Spauligodo n. sp. The morphoanatomic characteristics of helminths and the ecological host-parasite relationships are indicated. A. marchi is a new host for the three helminth species. The nematode Skrjabinodo n. sp. is a oioxenous helminth for A. marchi. The presence of the trematode Plagiorchis molini characterize some aspects of the host biology.
