Oribátidos (Acari, Oribatei) hallados sobre plantas en la región de Los Monegros (Aragón, España)

Abstract

A collection of oribatid mites obtained from plants in Pina de Ebro (Province of Zaragoza, Aragón, Spain) is studied. A total of 161 specimens belonging to 19 different species have been examined and eight of them are new for the region of Los Monegros. Latilamellobates latilamellatus was the species more frequently found. Other interesting findings are Scapheremaeus patella and Zygoribatula lenticulata. A redescription and drawings are given of S. patella.
