Los Oppiellinae en el sur de España: géneros Lauroppia, Moritzoppia, Neotrichoppia (Confinoppia) y Oppiella. Descripción de Lauroppia baetica sp. n. (Acari, Oribatida, Oppiidae)

Abstract

Oppiellinae from the south of Spain: genera Lauroppia, Moritzoppia, Neotrichoppia (Confinoppia) andoppiella. Description of Lauroppia baetica n. sp. (Acari; Oribatida, Oppiidae)
Species belonging to the genera Lauroppia Subías et Mínguez, 1986, Moritzoppia Subías et Rodríguez, 1988, Neotrichoppia (Confllloppia) Subías et Iturrondobeitia, 1981 and Oppiella Jacot, 1937 from the south of Spain were studied. Lauroppia baetica n. sp. is described, its main features are: big size (more than 400 pm); rostrum with three well developed teeth and lamellar costulae poorly developed; sensillum with narrow head with five bristles; six pairs of genital setae. Lauroppia doris is redescribed.
