Resumen

The preceeding work is a review of the knowledge on the Dorcatominae (Col., Anobiidae)
of the European fauna on a generic level. Atotal of 11 genera is reviewed (Mesocoelopus Duv., Mesothes M. R., Tricorynus Wat., Rhamna Peyer., Stagetus. Woll., Petalium Lec., Clymmaderus Sol., Dorcatoma Herbst, Mizodorcatoma Hayash., Caenocara Thoms. and Anitys Thoms.). The identification key and additional comments according to the latest contributions of the author to the study of that subfamily are included.
