Description of the female of Machiloides tenuicornis Stach, 1930. (Insecta, Apterygota, Microcoryphia)
The former knowledge of the genus MachiIoides in Spain is limited to a paper by Stach (1930) who described M. tenuicornis from “Mont Claverol” by Pobla de Segur, based on a single male. A female of M. tenuicornis collected in the province of Huesca, is described. The characteristics of the female agree with those of the male in the lack of pigmentation and shape of labial palps, amongst others.
