Cetáceos varados en las costas del Mediterráneo ibérico, durante los años 1980-1981

[:en]Cetaceans stranded on the Mediterranean coast of Spain during the years 1980-1981 The strandings recorded during 1980 and 1981 in northeastern Spain and the Balearic Islands are presented. A total of 27 strandings of the species Balaenopteraphysalus, Physeter macrocephalus, Ziphius cavirostris, Stenella coeruleoalba, Tursiops truncatus, Globicephala melaena, Grampus griseus and Mesoplodon densirostris are recorded in this paper; details of sex, length and material presewed from each specimen are given. Three strandings which occurred in previous years but that had not yet been reported are also included. Mesoplodon densirostris is recorded for first time in this area.
