Dominance hierarchy in Pseudotropheus tropheops (Teleostei, Cichlidae)
A linear dominance hierarchy was found within a group of six captive inmature Pseudotropheus tropheops, after reducing the size of the aquarium. Social status affected priority of access to a limited resource (a flowerpot as the only shelter available).
