Resumen

Survival rate and mean life span of the Citril Finch (Serinus citrinella)
Survival parameters for the Citril Finch (Serinus citrinella) are calculated. Birds were ringed and controlled for eight years (1977-84) in the same locality of the catalonian Pre-Pyrenees. Stochastic models of Brownie et al. (1985) were used to make computations. A survival rate of 54% and a mean life span of 1.64 years were obtained. These values and their coefficients of variation are similar to that of other temperate small passerines.
