Troglonethes aurouxi n. gen., n. sp. (Oniscidea, Trichoniscidae), a cavernicolous terrestrial isopod from Eastern Spain
The description of Troglonethes aurouxi n. gen., n. sp. from Cova de les Aranyes (Serra, Valencia), is given. The main points characteristics of this new genus are: single hairy bristles on the right mandible and endopodite bisegmented on the pleopod 2 of male. This genus appears to be related to Spelaeonethes Verhoeff and Alpioniscus Racovitza. The morphological differences among these genera are pointed out.
