Lithophilus khnzoriani n. sp. (Coleoptera, Coccinellidae) from the Iberian fauna
A new species of the genus Lithophilus (Coleoptera, Coccinellidae) is described from the Sierra de Albarracín (Teruel province, NE Spain). It is placed near Lithophllus cordatus Rosenhauer 1856 from Andalusia. It differs from it in having head and pronotum more densely punctuated, eye crest very thin, epistoned lightly notched (straight in L. cordatus), elytral pubescence less developed, shoulders effaced (conspicous in L. cordatus) and prothorax and aedeagus of different shape.
