Resumen

Relationship between rrophic hahits and bioclimatic ranges distribution in Sierra de Gredos of Chrysomelidae (Coleoptera) associated with Genisteae scrubs
Some aspects on the ecology of 11 Chrysomelidae species associated with Genisteae scrubs from Sierra de Gredos, are studied such as their feeding habits and their bioclimatic range. All known host-plants of this species cited in the bibliography are included, and those of Sierra de Gredos are both verified and increased. Cytisus multiflorus (L’Hér.) Sweet is the Genisteae with the richest associated Chrysomelidae fauna, both in number of species (8) and in number of specimens (338). On the other hand, C. striatus (Hill) Rothm. is the Genistea with the poorest associated Chrysomelid fauna. The supramediterranean is the bioclimatic range with more Chrysomelidae species, because of its climatic conditions and its plant diversity with regard with other stages in the Sierra. Mesomediterranean and oromediterranean ranges present a poorer associated Chrisomelid fauna because of their more extreme climatic conditions and lower plant diversity.
