PDFResumen
Ultrastructural study of lawal forms of Bucephallus haimeanus (Trematoda, Digenea) in the first intermediate host Ostrea edulis L
Bucephallus haimeanus (Trematoda, Digenea) is an endoparasite of the oyster Ostrea edulis. The ultrastructure of its larval forms -sporocyst and cercana- was studied by electron microscopy (transmission and scanning). Three division levels of sporocyst tegument and the existence of myeloid bodies and electrondense granules are confirmed. Ultrastructural features of the cercarial tegument are compared with those in the caudal appendix and pharynx.
