The fam. Merothripidae Hood in Spain (Insecta, Thysanoptera)
The family Merothripidae Hood has been recorded in Spain for the first time by the finding of Merothrips floridensis Watson. The most typical features of the specirnens studied are described since there are few specimens of this genus known.
