Resum

Inshore fish in the Andalusian Mediterranean coast: II. Fuengirola Bay (Málaga, Spain)
The inshore fish community was sampled seasonally in Fuengirola Bay. The catches of 37 commercial beach seine trawl were analized during 1981 and 1982. Sixty six fish species, nine crustaceans, eight molluscs and five echinoderms were collected. Data on seasonal variations of the abundance, diversity and community structure of fish species in the studied area is given. The fish community in Fuengirola Bay is characterized by individual abundance in the families Clupeidae and Engraulidae, by biomass in Carangidae and Sparidae, and by specific richness of Sparidae (12 species) and Gobiidae (9 species).
