Primera cita de Opeatogenys gracilis (Canestrini, 1864) (Osteichthyes, Gobiesocidae) en el litoral catalán (Mediterráneo NO)

Resum

First record of Opeatogenys gracilis (Canestrini, 1864) (Osteichthyes, Gobiesocidae) in the Catalan coast (NW Mediterranean)
Five specimens of O. gracilis have been found in a seagrass meadow in Alfacs Bay (Ebro Delta, Northwest Western Mediterranean), and as a consecuence the distribution range of this species has to be expanded. Biometric and meristic data of those specimens are given. Some specirnens have 10 rays at the caudal fin and 4 at the dorsal fin, what have not been previously reported. It is concluded that O. gracilis should inhabit all the Western Mediterranean, although it is an scarce species restricted to seagrass meadows.
