Resum

Ultrastructural study of tegumentary vesicles of posterior region in the intrasporocystic cercaria Proctoeces maculatus (Trematoda, Digenea, Fellodistomatidae)
In the tegument that overlaps the posterior region of the body of the cercaria of Proctoeces maculatus large lenticular vesicles coexist among two other kinds of vesicles. Lenticular vesicles are formed at high nuclear/cytoplasm ratio subtegumentary cells in which a rough endoplasmic reticulum (RER) with a high pleomorphic cistemae is very apparent. The Golgi complex is less important. Two or three cisternae of RER contributes in each lenticular vesicle formation, whose electron dense contents originates in these RER cisternae. In the tegument these vesicles are mainly arranged subperpendicularly to the surface, and are functionally related to the caudal adhesivity of the larva.
