Abstract

A new species of Dolichurus Latreille (Hymenoptera, Apoidea, Ampulicidae) from Brazil
Dolichurus sensei Ferreira and Lopez sp. nov. is described based on a single female specimen from a Neotropical savanna fragment in São Carlos, São Paulo, Brazil. We include images of the holotype and provide an additional commentary on its coloration.
