Un nouvel Holcostethus à tylus libre (Heteroptera, Pentatomidae)

Abstract

A new free tylus Holcostethus (Heteroptera, Penratomrdae)
The most relevant literature of the XXth century dealing with the three free tylus specics of the genus Holcosteihus (Heteroptera, Pcntatomidae), H. fissiceps (Hv), from Turkey, H. albipes (F), Mediterranean and H. sphacelatus (F), from Europe and North Afnca, is reviewed. A new species is described from the Pyrenees and Northern Catalonia, H. evae n. sp., and compared with albipes and sphacelatus. The high external ressemblance of the three species is outlined and the fact that they can only be clearly distinguished by the male genital organs is stated. A preliminary geographic sketch of the adjoining and overlapping areas of albipes, sphacelatus and evae is presented.
