PDFAbstract
Bivalvia Clavagellacea (Stirpulina pliocenica nov. sp.) from the Upper Neogene of the lower Guadalquivir Basin
Several branched tubular structures interpreted as burrowing bivalves belonging to family Clavagellidae are shown. At present, these Lower Pliocene remains located in the Southwestern Guadalquivir Basin, are the first ones clearly identified from the Upper Neogene in the Spanish fossil record. The former tubular structures are also mentioned.
