Presencia de Titanosáuridos (Dinosauria) en el Cretácico superior de Fontllonga (Lleida, España)

Abstract

Presence of Titanosaurids in the Upper Cretaceous of Fontlionga (Lleida, Spain)

Three caudal vertebrae of Dinosaur coming from the Late Maastrichtian of Fontllonga are described in this paper. They were probably located between the fifth and the tenth vertebrae, taking part of a tail composed of asout 40 vertebrae. The limited systematic value of the caudal vertebrae and the still in progress revision of the european Titanosaurids do not allow the authors to propose, for the moment, a generic determination of these elements.
